Brook Horsewood
Chef
Brook wears a couple different Coats here at Horsewood Catering...When not busy Furbo chatting with her dog Gus she throws on her classic yet stylish mad scientist coat carefully innovating and custom designing station and buffet lines for our upcoming events. One of the reasons we love brook at Horsewood Catering is her abilities to fit into small spaces. Whether loading or unloading our vans she is able to fully stand up saving our backs from total destruction.
16 years and thousand burns and scars later with her bold and italic love for food and tenacious work ethic Brook earned her stripes in the industry as a chef at various treasure valley restaurants before Merging with her brother Aaron and his wife Jessie to build Horsewood Catering. Trained in many global cuisines Brooks true passion is for Pizza, beer and soup. She has spent years covered in flour perfecting and crafting a dough that makes even the Truest New Yorker feel at home in the Gem State And soup connoisseurs coining the phrase “Soup Nazi”.
When not wearing her coats at Horsewood catering Brook enjoys short walks with her wife Colleen and fat dog Gus, thrives in warm weather environments, only appreciates winter for Christmas and football, and loves finding bargains shopping in youth sections. Small but large at heart, Brook considers herself blessed with the riches of working along side her family everyday at Horsewood catering. “Dreams Don't Work Unless You Do”
